As part of the Oxford Real Farming Conference 2027, Listenin to the Land is hosting a side event at the historic Divinity School. Please join us there for the first Listening to the Land Feast – an evening of food, music and collective celebration.
Rooted in gratitude for the land that feeds and nourishes us, this feast invites us to gather around the table in the spirit of reciprocity: to honour our deep connection with the living world, and to recognise the care and dedication of all those who bring food to our tables. Through the shared ritual of eating together, we celebrate the relationships that sustain us – between people, place and land. The evening will include a delicious three-course vegetarian meal prepared by TwoTrees Catering using produce from trusted local farms.
The Feast will be preceded by a ceremony to rekindle our reverence for the land and the more-than-human world that sustains us all. We’ll be joined by a number of our incredible speakers for this year’s programme and performers including Martha Tilston and Charlotte Church.
Spaces are limited, so book your ticket now via ORFC to avoid disappointment. If you are able, please consider purchasing a pay-it-forward ticket as this ensures the event is inclusive to all within the ORFC community.

From a fringe protest of 50 people to a gathering of thousands, ORFC continues to bring the grassroots agroecology and food sovereignty movement together to lead the way towards a fairer food and farming system in the UK and beyond.
The 2027 hybrid conference will run from Thursday, 7th January, through to Friday, 8th January, with in-person registration opening on the evening of Wednesday, 6th January.
