Programme Manager, Ready Healthy Eat
Programmes

Tash is working with the four Ready Healthy Eat partners to promote and share learning from their work, responding specifically to food poverty needs raised by the cost of living (inequality) crisis. She is also researching in order to bring together a group of organisations that work in rural areas to explore ways of addressing food poverty outside the urban context.

Previously she was Project Leader of Better Food Traders, creating and expanding a network of ethically-driven food retailers. Tash is also on the board of Local Greens, a veg box scheme in South London, and co-founded Growing Communities in Hackney with Julie Brown. She also works for Sustain’s Food Learning Forum, as it transitions from a grant-funded project to an unfunded peer-supported project. The Forum aims to connect the food and farming sector through learning, discussion and reflection.

Tash co-owns and manages a small organic top-fruit orchard in Kent, growing apples, pears and plums sold through veg boxes, a farmers’ market and direct.
