Land Bases Wisdom hosts a programme strand within the Oxford Real Farming Conference each January.

What does it mean to have a reciprocal relationship with the land?  This was a question that kept coming up in sessions at ORFC over the last few years. From panel discussions talking about traditional knowledge systems to farmers telling us about their relationship with ancient trees, we started to recognise a common thread that ran through many of our sessions. People who work with the land, and people who spend time with the land have a deep and often sacred relationship with it.
