As part of the Ready Healthy Eat project, we considered how food insecurity might be better addressed. One thing we noticed is that there is often more community food provision in urban areas than rural areas, although rural poverty can be especially challenging to cope with. We undertook a short investigation and heard from groups already working in rural areas to better understand the issues, in order that new well informed work can be proposed. Here is a report from that investigation.
